Outdoor and Indoor Barn Wedding Venue in Arkansas

These days, outdoor wedding ceremonies are what many couples are dreaming of. But there are so many uncontrollable forces at work (mhmm, we see you Mother Nature). You need an Arkansas barn wedding venue with options.

Plentywoods Venue is a wedding venue built with couples’ wishlists in mind. The perfect combination of a barn and a chapel, weddings can be customized to create the Northwest Arkansas wedding of your dreams. Nestled on a hilltop in the Boston Mountains, our modern, outdoor finish blends into the surrounding pastures, forests, and valleys that are captivating in every direction. When you step inside, the stain-finished pine is the ideal mix of elegant and rustic. Outside may not be the altitude or magnitude of the Rocky Mountains, but couples have endless options for an outdoor ceremony backdrop that is sure to wow your guests (sorry bride, you may not be the only thing taking their breath away).

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Venue

If you are planning an outdoor wedding ceremony in Arkansas, we offer multiple outdoor locations that give you flexibility and choices. From cattle pastures to rolling hills and forests to valleys, we have them all! We can accommodate up to 350 guests at Plentywoods.

The Hitching Post

The hitching post behind the venue is the original ceremony site. With a backdrop of a cattle pasture, pine trees and rolling hills, it is beautiful throughout the entire year. This spot allows for the wedding party to make their way to the ceremony from the double doors at the back of the venue (which is also the main entrance) and is just a short walk to the altar.

The Hills

Outdoor wedding ceremonies with hills in the background make for a romantic scene that feels like you’re in vast, wide-open spaces. This location is right off the edge of the parking lot so it’s easy for guests to take their seats. The aisle is lined up with the venue, so pictures of the wedding party walking down the aisle to the altar have the venue as their backdrop (a beautiful sight on its own).

The Pines

The three pine tress just yards from the venue are a quick favorite by many couples. Not only are ceremonies set up here a straight, close walk from the venue, but they also can be set up in multiple ways to offer couples even more options. We know this will continue to be a favorite wedding spot!

The Valley

One of the most stunning views is the valley off the side of the venue that overlooks the forest, pastures and a valley that leads to Fayetteville. This is a jaw-dropping backdrop and is sure to wow your guests, especially in the summer and fall. Sometimes, there may even be some cows that make their way to into pictures. This is just off of our patio and probably more suitable for weddings in the 150-200 guest range. But we can certainly accommodate larger weddings here, too.

The Patio

The patio is 30x70 feet of concrete space perfect for couples who want an outdoor ceremony when the grounds are too wet during the rainy months. Located right off of the reception hall allows easy access for the wedding party and guests. The bride can make her grand entrance through the front of the venue and come around on the sidewalk. It’s also a great spot for happy hour or your guests who need fresh air throughout the night. This would be ideal for smaller weddings of 200 or less to have all of the guests seated on the patio.

Indoor Ceremony Venue

Even if rainy days cancel your outdoor wedding plans, our indoor ceremony space is a beautiful attraction. Your photographer and videographer will appreciate the natural light from all of the windows surrounding the reception hall. Eventually, we will have stained glass in the upper windows to create even more character in the building. Our indoor space is over 5,000 square feet and can seat 350 guests. The one thing to consider with indoor ceremonies is that they do require a room flip and if weather permits we encourage couples to have a happy hour on the patio for a team to transform the reception hall for dinner and dancing.
