About Plentywoods Venue

Family is the Reason

Family is the most important thing – it’s what inspired us to build a wedding venue. We hope we can be there the day you start yours.

Marley family at Plentywoods

Meet the Marley Family

We aren’t different than many of you. We love our family, God and the farm where Plentywoods is built. For four generations, we have made a living raising cattle and poultry, taking care of the land so that it continues to provide for us. Building a wedding venue wasn’t on our radar until our daughter was engaged and planned her wedding in this exact location in 2020.

We might be biased, but the rolling hilltop, expansive woods and surrounding cattle pastures sets a beautiful, romantic scene that’s sure to leave your guests speechless. We believe this kind of beauty should be shared: cue plans for a wedding venue.

The entire family sat hours around the dinner table discussing plans, critiquing designs and dreaming about the future couples we get to work with on one of the best days of their lives. Marsha and Jeff (or mom and dad to most) have a vision for this venue and what it will be for so many families in the future. They saw through every big and little detail and made sure nothing was left undone.

We care about you and your special day. So we want to give you our very best throughout your entire wedding process. We can’t wait meet you and hopefully celebrate the start of your new family.

Why the name Plentywoods?

It’s simple really. A neighbor just up the road was a dear friend to Jeff and Marsha Marley and he always called the entire hillside “plentywoods.” He journaled every day and there are pages and pages that make up books of his memories – from Jeff and Marsha’s children being born to grocery shopping with his wife – and he often wrote about “plentywoods.” It’s a word that reminds them of these old memories from an old friend. But today, it also means “home” to us.
